We are very saddened to hear of the passing of our Grandfather/Great-Grandfather. We will miss his wisdom, his tenacity and independent spirit. He was a hard-working man with incredible talent – skilled in the fabrication of toys and tractors. We all have fond memories of his incredible collection of hand-crafted tractors and plows, and we treasure the beautiful, miniature replica hand plows he made for each of us as wedding gifts…he created them from wood and metal…even the nuts and bolts were made by hand. We have fond memories of his appreciation for the ‘simple things’ in life…we smile when we think about how he loved his yard work, or how he instructed his grandchildren on how to eat a grapefruit, or how bean and bacon soup tastes better if you add ketchup. Any time you visited his house, Grandma and Grandpa would always bring out the food, and plenty of it, just in case you were hungry. His generous spirit and care will be deeply missed. In his memory, we have chosen to give a donation to the very people who helped bring comfort to him in his last days – we will be donating, in his name, to the Hospice of Dayton. We think Grandpa/Great-Grandpa’s generosity of spirit would be happy to see others benefit from the same care and comfort that he received in his time of need.
With all our love – The Jackson Family (Bobby and Beth Ann; Robert, Jessica, Gianna and Aiden; Nicholas, Linda and Zayden; Jeremy and Brook), The Loy Family (Timothy, Kelly, Tallis, and Willow), The Loy Family (David, Stephanie, Allison and Nathan)

Wish to extend our sympathy to the Loy family. Mr. And Mrs. Loy were treasured neighbors to my folks on Miller ave. after my dad passed away. Mr. Kept an eye out for my widowed mother and let me know if things neede d done. He was a good and caring man and our appreciation for his concern never went unnoticed. Thank you mr. Loy

I worked with Charles at H & S Screw Products and knew him for almost 30 years. Charles taught me a lot when I worked with him and even years later when we were reunited by chance as he was at the same nursing home as my late father was. He was a great friend and I will miss him dearly. I feel blessed to have known him and I am grateful that I was able to visit with him again in these past months.
My condolences to all of his family and friends.
